OUR FOUR INTERVENTIONS

CONFERENCE

Deciding under uncertainty: understand, anticipate, act

Geopolitical crises, economic transformations, new regulations, technological disruptions and climate risks: leaders must now make decisions in environments where change is accelerating and information is often abundant, fragmented or contradictory.

View details →

This conference provides keys to better decipher complex environments, identify the developments and signals that really matter, and strengthen decision-making capacity in the face of uncertainty.

Drawing on concrete examples and an approach rooted in strategic intelligence and risk analysis, it encourages three reflexes:

Understand your environment · Anticipate change · Act with discernment

For whom?
Leaders · Executive committees · Managers · Elected officials and public-sector executives · Professional networks

Format
45 to 60 min + discussion · Breakfast or lunch debate · Adaptable to the organisation’s challenges

CONFERENCE

Leading under pressure: decide, communicate and stay the course

A crisis, transformation or period of high uncertainty does not only test an organisation’s processes. It also places leaders and managers under greater pressure: making decisions with imperfect information, communicating amid uncertainty and preserving collective momentum.

View details →

This conference explores the mechanisms that influence our behaviour and decisions under pressure, as well as the levers that enable leaders to maintain their analytical capacity, adapt their communication and provide their teams with clear reference points.

It brings together three inseparable dimensions:

Decide with clarity · Communicate clearly · Maintain cohesion

The aim is not to eliminate uncertainty or stress, but to better understand their effects in order to continue fully exercising one’s role as a leader or manager when familiar reference points are disrupted.

For whom?
Leaders · Executive committees · Managers · Team leaders · Public-sector executives

Format
45 to 60 min + discussion · Breakfast or lunch debate · Adaptable to the organisation’s context

TRAINING

From information to decision-making: the fundamentals of strategic intelligence

In an information-saturated environment, the challenge is no longer simply to access data, but to know what to look for, how to assess it and how to turn it into useful input for decision-making.

View details →

This training provides participants with a practical method to better understand their environment, detect developments likely to affect their organisation and identify the actors, risks and opportunities that deserve attention.

Observe → Assess → Analyse → Map → Anticipate → Decide

Objectives

  • define priority information needs and organise targeted monitoring;
  • identify and prioritise relevant sources;
  • assess information and evaluate its reliability;
  • spot weak signals, risks and opportunities;
  • map the actors and networks shaping their environment;
  • synthesise analysis to inform a decision or strategic direction.

The training combines methodological input, practical cases and application to participants’ own challenges. When the format allows, each participant works on an issue directly related to their organisation.

For whom?
Leaders · Managers · Strategy and business development managers · Public-sector executives · Project officers · Project managers

Formats
Half day — introduction and acquisition of the fundamentals
1 day — full training with exercises and practical application
Tailored — adapted to a sector, territory or specific issue

TRAINING

Managing and communicating in complex situations

Transformation, crisis, reorganisation, internal tensions or prolonged uncertainty: some situations disrupt teams’ usual reference points and place greater responsibility on managers.

View details →

How do you make a decision when not all the information is available? How do you explain it? How do you manage the reactions it triggers and maintain team cohesion during a period of tension?

This training provides managers with methods and tools to adapt their posture, communication and management approach to complex or disrupted situations.

Objectives

  • understand the effects of pressure and uncertainty on individual and collective behaviour;
  • identify their own reactions and those of others in tense situations;
  • adapt their management posture to the context and the team’s level of autonomy;
  • communicate a difficult decision or sensitive information clearly;
  • conduct a discussion in a situation of disagreement, tension or uncertainty;
  • preserve the reference points, trust and cohesion needed for collective action.

The training combines methodological input, analysis of professional situations, experience sharing and simulations. Cases can be adapted to the issues faced by the organisation and its teams.

For whom?
Leaders · Managers · Team leaders · Public-sector executives · Project managers

Formats
1 day — fundamentals, exercises and simulations
2 days — in-depth work on professional situations
Tailored — adapted to the needs of a team, executive committee or organisation

Interventions built around your challenges

Every organisation operates within its own environment, sector and culture. Connecting Resilience conferences and training sessions can therefore be adapted to the issues faced, participant profiles and objectives.

Depending on your needs, interventions may notably focus on strategic intelligence applied to a sector or territory, international development and market understanding, sensitive communication, management or team resilience.

From a one-off conference to in-depth training, content, examples and simulations are designed to respond to the organisation’s real context.
